Have you just finished school or college or recently found yourself unemployed? Perhaps you’re thinking about a change of job or career? Maybe you’re a parent with a teenager about to face these challenges?
Why not drop into Education Business Partnership’s Destinations Expo, between 3pm and 5.30pm, on 11th July at Steam Museum, Swindon.
Jane Grunseid, Business Development Officer at Education Business Partnership (EBP) told us,
“This free event is open for any young people up to the age of 24, and parents, who want information and inspiration about career and training opportunities in the local area. EBP have successfully held this event in Windsor and Reading and we are really happy to be able to offer the local people of Swindon the same wonderful opportunity, at a time of year where important decisions need to be made.”
There will be over 50 businesses to talk to from a wide variety of sectors. Each company will have a hands-on activity/taster of their business and hopefully will help inspire you about what they do and the opportunities that they offer young people. With lots of parking available and in a prime location, Destinations Expo aims to readily give you food for thought, ideas and choices about the variety of options available to young people.
Just a few of the organisations attending include: BT, Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Microsoft, Swindon Wyvern Theatre, Now Vauxhall, Army Be the Best, Academy of Music, Honda, Nationwide, Oxford Brookes University, SSE and Swindon Borough Council. We only have a few stands left…If you are a business and would like to find out more about having a stand at our event, please visit www.ebpwb.co.uk
