Education Business Partnership (EBP) are calling all businesses, big or small, to join them for the day at their ‘Destinations Expo’ event on the 11th July at STEAM Museum, to inspire and influence our future local workforce.
This event, funded by the Careers and Enterprise Company, has already been very successful in Reading and Windsor with 98% of businesses saying,
“They would attend an event like this again, it was a great opportunity to raise the profile of our sector and business.”
During the day, over 1,200 young people from local schools will be coming through the doors, followed by an open session later in the afternoon for the general public and young adults. All we ask is that you bring an interactive hands-on activity, ideally related to your business, to engage young people and to give a taster of the work you do.
Michelle Smith, Chief Executive Officer at the EBP said,
“The Destinations Expo is a great day, there is a real buzz of excitement where these young people find out about the great opportunities that the world of work has to offer. We know it makes a real difference as over 80% of young people who attended the Berkshire events said that it will influence their career choice.”
If you want to show off your business, raise your profile and support your community and our future workforce, then this is the opportunity for you.
