Employers Expectations

In order to properly prepare students before spending a week in a work placement the EBP deliver a session to the students about employer expectations within school 2-4 weeks prior to commencement of work experience placement.

Employers will be asked to speak explaining the kind of expectations they have of a work experience student. This will include:

  • the kind of behaviour they expect from the student while they are in the work place
  • time keeping
  • dress codes
  • hours of work

They will also discuss how they hope the student will be full of enthusiasm and willing to tackle any task which may be assigned to them.
